Even If He Doesn't, I'll Still Praise Him
In life, we often come to God with prayers, hopes, and expectations. We trust Him for breakthroughs, miracles, and answered prayers. But what happens when the miracle doesn't come? What if the healing doesn't happen? What if the breakthrough delays or never comes?
Even if He doesn't, I'll still praise Him.
"But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up." – Daniel 3:18
The faith of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego reminds us that our worship is not tied to what God does, but to who He is. They stood before the fiery furnace with the kind of faith that said, "God is able — but even if He doesn't, we will still worship Him."
His goodness is not measured by my circumstances. His worthiness is not proven by how many prayers He answers the way I desire.
The cross was enough.
He already gave His Son, His very best — and through that sacrifice, He gave me forgiveness, redemption, and eternal life. That's why I'll still praise Him, whether He parts the sea or asks me to walk through the fire. Whether He opens the door or tells me to trust Him in the waiting.
"Yet I will rejoice in the Lord, I will be joyful in God my Savior." – Habakkuk 3:18
Even if He doesn't, I'll still praise Him — not for what He gives, but for who He is: Savior, Redeemer, King of Kings.
The cross is proof that He loves me. The empty tomb is proof that He is powerful. His presence is proof that He is still with me.
That will always be enough.
